What’s Good: A couple of emotional scenes; acting of Sachin and Tanvi.
What’s Bad: Lack of light scenes; lack of emotions.
Verdict: Bubble Gum is well-meaning but that’s not enough for a film to make a mark at the box-office.

BUBBLE GUM has its heart in the right place. A film that arrives with zilch expectations, but succeeds in taking you back in time when life was simpler and sweet. Recommended!

Bollywood Movie Bubble Gum Reviewed by Nikhat Kazmi (Times of India):
Meant for those who want a sensitive tryst with cinema that steers clear of cliches and the formula. Don't go looking for high voltage entertainment and you won't be disappointed.
Bubble Gum may not score high on the entertainment quotient and is definitely not meant for the popcorn guzzlers. But the film has a piquant charm to it, spilling over with mood, sentiment and message. Add to this, the life-like performances by almost all the actors, including the two teen actors (Delzad and Sohail as the hearing-impaired), and you have a film that offers a satisfying experience.
