Saif Ali Khan for the first time portrayed an out and out negative character in this film. And Urmila Matondkar has beautifully supported him with a layered performance. But in this Thriller of Director Sriram Raghavan, Saif Ali Khan was a Revelation. His entire hero role was appreciated by ONE & ALL!!

3. Vaastav:

This film was inspired by Al Pacino classics "Scarface". Sanjay dutt portrayed many negative roles before, but with this film he simply RAISED THE BAR!!! He performed very Intense and Natural role in this Mahesh Manjrekar Directed film. There is no wonder, for the first time he grabbed Best Actor award for this movie.

Yash Raj production's this film has made Motorcycles and John Abraham very popular in India. John made the Entire Hero "Cool and Stylish". Interestingly audience praised John Abraham's performance compared to Abhishek Bachchan's performance. Although John was playing negative role in this movie. John Abraham and Vidya Balan in Force 2 ?

Many filmmakers have envisaged for their films an on-screen pairing of John Abraham and Vidya Balan. Sanjay Gupta, who was eager to cash in on the chemistry between John and Vidya for Shootout At Wadala, had to eventually squash his casting plans. But it seems that Vipul Shah has managed to accomplish what other filmmakers couldn't, since Nikhil Advani's Salaam-E-Ishq, in 2007. A source informed Mumbai Mirror that John and Vidya have been roped in for Vipul's sequel to Force. Since Force has received a positive reception so far, the filmmaker has reportedly been keen to start work on Force 2 immediately. The source told us, "Vipul wanted the film to be bigger than Force and so, he has finalised Vidya Balan to play the lead role. He has also decided to retain the original film's director Nishikant Kamath for the sequel. Nishikant already had an idea, which he developed during the making of Force. Since the original film has been the biggest opening of any John Abraham starrer, the filmmakers have decided to title it Force 2." Salaam-E-Ishq was the the first and only time that John and Vidya shared screen-space. Their on-screen chemistry triggered rumours that the two shared more than a professional rapport. "In fact, John's then girlfriend, Bipasha, had raised an objection to them working together," added the source. When contacted, Vipul said, "Yes, we are extremely happy with the success of Force at the box office. I am keen to start the sequel with John immediately. The story is a completely new adventure, with a new villain, who John will have to go head-to-head with." When asked if Vipul has in fact roped in Vidya Balan to play the female lead alongside John, the producer simply replied, "We are still in the process of getting the final draft of the film. The casting is under process. Yes, we have met a couple of people, but it is too early to name any actors as no one, except John, is on-board yet."

Dhoom 3 release shifted to 2013

The much awaited release of Dhoom 3 has now been shifted to 2013, a year later than the initial date of end 2012. This has been necessitated because of various production and post-production considerations. While the shoot begins from end-November 2011, we anticipate a demanding 10 to 11 months of intense shooting with concurrent post-production, which will stretch beyond. This will probably be cutting it too fine for a Christmas 2012 release. In view of this and keeping the interest of the audience expectations from Dhoom 3, both Aditya Chopra and Vijay Krishna Acharya (Victor) in consultation with Aamir, have decided to delay the release of the film to 2013. Speaking about this, Victor said, "Dhoom 3 is very dear to all of us as well as to its audience who expect only the best from the franchise. While the shooting will finish in time, we expect the post-production to take much longer. We are trying our best to give one of the finest cinematic experiences to our discerning audience and therefore did not want to compromise the quality of the film just to meet the release date." Produced by Aditya Chopra, Dhoom 3 will be written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who has written Dhoom 1 & 2. He has also written and directed Tashan. This 1955 Brylcreem ad featuring the inimitable Kishore Kumar has been sent by Kaustubh Pingle. It appeared in the pages of Filmfare. "This was the time when Kishore Kumar was gaining popularity and eventually becoming the most-wanted actor of the decade, having 12 silver jubilee and three golden jubilees - one of his movies running for continuously 30 months!" says Kaustubh.

Amjad Khan is one of the meanest villains Indian Cinema has ever seen. Also, he was the first from his breed to endorse a product, that too a biscuit! After his epic-size hit Sholay, Amjad Khan went ahead to endorse Parle-G, Tata Tea and Brittania Glucose-D biscuits. Britannia Glucose D biscuits had employed Sholay's Gabbar Singh to push their product over Parle's Glucose biscuits. Here's that Ad in print. Remember?

After starring together in Anjaana Anjaani, the duo of Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra will next be seen together in Anurag Basu's Barfee. Besides Ranbir and Priyanka, the film also stars South sensation Ileana D'Cruz. Bollywood Hungama brings you a sneak peek of Ranbir and Priyanka shooting for their film in Kolkata.

The images from the film’s sets show Ranbir and Priyanka as a grumpily dressed duo. If Ranbir is seen clad in batik kurta over pyjama, Priyanka is no less dowdy in a rumpled kurti over khakhis.

Barfee has Ranbir playing a deaf and mute character. The film was previously being shot in Darjeeling but the huge crowds there posed a problem for the crew. The Darjeeling schedule was thus cancelled mid-way. Instead, director Anurag Basu opted to film the crucial scenes in the city of joy, Kolkata. South star Ileana is the second heroine of Barfee.

Shah Rukh Salman together in a Film?

Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are archrivals and had somebody even thought to see them together? But if sources

are to be believed, the two Khans may be pairing in one of the film which is based on Kanika Dhillon's Book - Bombay Duck is a Fish. Rumours are all around that many production houses are considering to convert this book into a movie. The book's plot revolves around Neki Brar, a girl who quits everything and comes to Bollywood to transform into a Director.

We came to know that Shah Rukh Khan (who launched Kanika Dhillon's book certainly has a role for himself in this one, even Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor may also share silver screen with him. Dhoom 3 has a Tough Time

Yash Raj Films' ambitious project Dhoom 3 has been postponed for a month. The film was supposed to go on floor in November will now start at least a month later. Reason: Abhishek Bachchan.

Abhishek Bachchan who is playing Jai Dixit in Dhoom 3 wants some family time since his wife's due date is around November too. And there is no doubt Yash Raj Films would have any objection for Abhishek's Paternity Leave.

As usual Dhoom 3 has lots of cool bikes, latest gadgets, a crook and Mr. Abhishek Bachchan will now not be able to go on floors without the main crook chaser.

Dhoom 3 will now release in December or January. Bachchans are like a family to Yash Chopra. Dhoom 3 shooting will only start once Abhishek is ready. Abhishek agreed to start shooting mid-December. But there are few more challenges like availability of the locations and technicians. So, Dhoom 3 might go on floors in December 2011 or next year January 2012.

As we all know Uday Chopra is not doing much wonders except to act in Dhoom series Abhishek's schedule of starting the shoot with Uday Chopra can be adjusted easily.
However, our sources from YRF confirmed that shooting schedules are still in premature stages and so they don't know whether they have to really postpone the shoot or not. But they will definitely keep in mind the arrival of joy in the Bachchan household.

Well when we are talking about Dhoom 3 and we forgot this sequel's main attraction Mr. Aamir Khan, how is it possible? Aamir will start shooting around April 2012 or May 2012 and our insiders have told us that Aamir is busy preparing his character of gymnast in Dhoom 3.

Meant for those who want a sensitive tryst with cinema that steers clear of cliches and the formula. Don't go looking for high voltage entertainment and you won't be disappointed.

Bubble Gum may not score high on the entertainment quotient and is definitely not meant for the popcorn guzzlers. But the film has a piquant charm to it, spilling over with mood, sentiment and message. Add to this, the life-like performances by almost all the actors, including the two teen actors (Delzad and Sohail as the hearing-impaired), and you have a film that offers a satisfying experience.

Salman Khan Announced Chillar Party Sequel

Chillar Party - Chillar Party Sequel - Chillar Party Salman Khan - When is Chillar Party Sequel Releasing?

It seems UTV is more busy on other projects, hence our Sallu Miyan (Salman Khan) has decided to go ahead and produce Sequel of Chillar Party.

After succes of Chillar Party at BoxOffice, it seems Salman Khan have taken his role as a producer pretty seriously. Because as always, जब सल्मानसाब कुछ करते हे तो वो बडा हि करते हे, he confirmed that he is ready with not one but two sequels of Chillar Party. Although his first production venture receiving ramble reviews from the critics, Sallu has decided just not to stop but to jump into the bandwagon of sequels. However co-producer UTV looks doubtful.

Salman, who co-produced Chillar Party along with UTV is very much disappointed the way UTV has sidetracked Chillar Party and moved on to commercially successful films like Delhi Belly.

In second part of Chillar party all the kids get together to take the slum-kid Fatka ( Irfan Khan)) and all his slum-mates to school.

In the third part of the film the kids are the think-tank for the Indian Olympic squad hired by the government.

Vikas Bahl and writer-director Nitesh Tiwari are also in the process of writing the fourth story to the Chillar Party series. And Salman committed to stay with them for the entire series.

Meena Kumari's Poems in Audio and Video

Meena Kumari News - Meena Kumari's Audio and Video CD - Meena Kumari, Kamal Amrohi's Son Shandaar - Reena Roy's sister Barkha - Who is releasing Audio and Video CDs of Meena Kumari?

Everyone of us knows who Meena Kumari is, but very few of us might be knowing that she was a very good poetess. To showcase her creations Kamal Amrohi's son Shandaar and Reena Roy's sister Barkha are now launching video and audio CDs featuring many poems written by Sadabahaar actress Meena Kumari.

Sources confirmed that many of this poems were written during the phase when she was getting divorced with her husband Kamal Amrohi. Meena Kumari was married to filmmaker Kamal Amrohi and they started to develop strong differences, both professionally and in their married life. This led to their separation in 1960, and ultimately they got divorced in 1964. The divorce had emotionally broken the actress. And eventually this charming woman was engulfed by depression and took to heavy drinking habbits. The couple remarried, but by then Meena Kumari had become an alcoholic. Her sorrow drove her to write poetry.

One of her poems clearly shows her solace for husband Kamal - "Tum kya karoge sunkar mujhse meri kahani, Beluft zindagi ke kisse hain pheeke pheeke" (Why do you want to listen to my story, colourless tales of a joyless life?).

A very touchy line was penned by her at the time of her divorce, - "Talaak to de rahe ho Nazar-e-kahar ke saath, Jawani bhi mere lauta do Mehar ke saath" (You are divorcing me with rage in your eyes. Return me, my youth along with the dowry).

When contacted, Barkha told Mumbai Mirror, "I am not only producing the video but also co-directing it with Raoul V Randolf." Randolf co-wrote the screenplay of Ashutosh Gowariker's Abhishek-Deepika starrer Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey.

Barkha is not only producing the video but she is also co-directing it with Raoul V Randolf who has co-written the screenplay of Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey. Shandaar and Sunidhi Chauhan will lend their voices to Meena Kumari's poems. But Barkha has not finalized any models to act in the produced video.

Shandaar was 27 when Meena Kumari passed away and he was very fond of Meenaji. Further Shandaar told that he has kept all her poems safely and it's time that he will bring them out so that everyone has access to it.

As confirmed by both Barkha and Shandaar, the video and audio CDs are expected to hit markets by September 2011.

We are eagerly waiting to recreate magic of marvelous actress Meena Kumariji.

Real Scandal Story : Ragini MMS

Many of us might be searching on Real Scandal Story Or Original Ragini / Deepika MMS of Ragini aka Delhi Based Deepika. I agree I have been too late on researching on topic of Real Ragini MMS Scandal.

Ekta Kapoor's film Ragini MMS, was creating a lot of buzz for its sensuous paranormal thriller story when it was released. Reportedly Balaji tried hard to hide the inspiration behind the story but it is finally revealed to everybody before movie released. Ragini MMS is a story based on a 22-year-old Delhi girl Deepika.
After researching a lot I came to know that, just when Deepika was recovering from the dreadful incident in Delhi, Ekta was playing with the idea of making a film on real MMS scandals IN Mumbai. At this time Deepika’ s friend who works in the Creative department of Balaji asked Ekta if she’d like to meet her friend who had gone through a real life MMS scandal incident.

Now, lets open up the real story of RAGINI MMS or you can say Deepika MMS without toying it or juggling it as Ekta Kappor did. But before proceeding further I would like to make it clear, that in real life both Deepika and Her Boyfriend is alive. She confirmed that she felt some Paranormal Activity was going on in the house were they stayed. But it seems the ghost was too good that it did not become, “Kabab mein Haddi” on that night.


As we have seen in the movie, Deepika and her boyfriend (name withheld by request) had gone out for a weekend to a house in the outskirts of Delhi. As narrated by Deepika, “The area was very dark. Somehow, I got a lot of negative vibes when I entered that place. But then when you are with a person you trust, you know how it is. I did not pay any attention. But I was very uncomfortable throughout the night. All along, I felt somebody was watching us”.

After a sensuous night in each other’s arms, Deepika was shocked to see the laptop they carried switched on. Her boyfriend had recorded the entire passionate video to create and circulate it as an MMS. She further narrated, “I was with him for five months already. I guess we wanted to take the relationship to the next level. He suggested we go to this place his friend owned. It was our first night out.”

She was shocked and in a trauma of her boyfriend cheated her and also little bit scared of the reported paranormal activity which occurred that night. Due to this she was in a hospital for almost a year after the incident occurred. The girl who believes in ghost says,, “Agar kuch dikh nahi raha tha toh wahaan zaroor koi paranormal activity ho rahi thi. I felt that the place where we went was very unnatural.” She adds that she had turned wiser after that shocking incident. “In fact, I never met him after that incident,” she says honestly.



So now as we know that Ragini MMS is hardly inspired by real life Ragini, Deepika lets have a short review of Ragini MMS, although it is too late to do it.
Ragini MMS, is inspired by a true life incident. The way Ekta and Team has juggled down the entire real life story, hats off to her creative team. After a long time, I felt like I have been thrilled. Although, the ghost was looking more like a cartoon character rather than a ghost, but few scenes are remarkably thrilling. Director was very much inspired by Paranormal Activity and hence we were able to hear lots of thudding sounds and unnecessary Dark scenes. For few scenes I was really in a shock like why they are there in movie? Just to increase length of the movie? I don’t know what Ekta was thinking at this time.

Overall I enjoyed Ragini MMS for a brilliant effort to scare Indian audiences.
