Akon a Senegalese American R&B performer is going to sing a Hindi Song? Yes guys, you heard it right. He will be singing Wanna Be My Chammak Challo, the item number of SRK’s big Diwali release, Ra.One.

Sadly Mr. Khan who wanted to keep it a surprise got some bad news. The rough cut of the song leaked on the Internet causing it to be an instant hit online. Unfortunately, for those who want to see this video, T-Series has claimed a copyright violation and YouTube has banned this video from viewing. The video is such a big hit that it became a trending topic on Twitter and it received over 9 lakh hits on YouTube!

Farah Khan, who is reported to be a best Mouth Marketing expert (Bol Bacchan) has said, “I think it’s fabulous and by far one of the best tracks by Akon. His Hindi diction is perfect and the beats are so catchy. It’s going to be a rage once Ra.One releases.” Ab Farahji, aap kitna such bol rahi hey wo to video release hone ke baad hi pata chalega.

Amazingly, there are at least five pages dedicated to the son on Facebook and Youngsters humming Tu meri chammak challo, Teri picture ka main hero.

My Probe on this? I think it’s just another feather in our list of ‘item numbers’ and like always, SRK’s managed to be the first to get someone like Akon to sing in Hinglish.
